Right now I am in the middle of this storm..will see what damage is done when I get home from work this afternoon..Atleast my yard is getting a drink of water that it needed...LOL...anybody else in the path of the storm??

I may be, was last night, but things seem to have moved slightly north. I can hear some thunder centered over Bastrop County in the front that is proceeding Edouard. Time will tell.

I am! But hey ... here's a picture of what we're getting now. Not bad. Just some much-needed rain.

We were suppose to be hammered by Edouard this morning, but he moved more into Texas. We only got a little wind/rain. Still cloudy, and had cooler temps earlier. My garden is loving this weather!

Houston, TX(Zone 9b)

I was supposed to come right at us, but at last minute decided to pull a "Rita" on us. We didn't even get enough rain at the house to get the mulch thoroughly wet. My office, just 5 miles away, got drenched, though, but no too heavy winds.

Hope you faired ok, Moodene!

I had alot of little tree limb debris to pick up and that was a chore to do. Fair amount of rain and wind..It did help water my whole 19.8 acres of land...lol...

We got about 7" of rain and a whole lot wind! Nothing too damaging but I have no more buds or leaves for that matter :(
Im glad you all came thru it ok!

oh Caren... no buds or leaves..that's getting socked... I feel for you there... is there enough time in your season to get the leaves back... and I'm sure they will be thinking of flowering right away.. considering their near death experience..

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

lol! Thanks Gordan, They have since started to leaf out. Im sure I will get more blooms soon. I was just thankful they didn't break in half! I spent hours the day before staking everybody up. I was most worried about one of Gary's seedlings that looks like a skyscraper in the yard. Its taller than my house (eaves) and still has not Yed!! Everything came thru with no breaks thankfully!
Take care!
