We had a conservatory built on the southside of our home. I have been looking for a black stand about 6 ft wide and 6 feet tall to put some of the plants on. Apparently they don't exist. Cannot find one locally or on the internet.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me to search?
Thanks
Lynn
Plant stand for conservatory
would bakers racks work?
I've looked at those and thought about putting 2 together. The problem being the top shelves are not that deep or tall and the bottom usually only has one shelf. I've got several bromeliads I wanted to put on shelves.
I found some plain wire racks but they look industrial so decided against them.
Tanks

Did you see these?

Thanks Nan. This is industrial shelving for storing things. I'm trying to find something a little decorative for the room as it will have wicker furniture and other plant stands that are black wrought iron.

Have you thought about finding a local welder? They can make anything and such a stand would be simple to make and would have the custom feel to it.
Oh, OK...functional, yes... but not too decorative!
MitchF has a great idea!
Good luck in your search.
Here is a bakers rack type that has better shelves than some I have seen.

This one looks a bit bigger and is cheaper also.

You know how when you search Google - 'it's all in the keywords'??
I tried a search for 'wrought iron furniture' and came up with a lot of possibilities, mostly for patio furniture, but a patio table might work?
Otherwise, it sure looks as though you're right...no place seems to have anything near the size that you're looking for.
There was also a link on one of the websites for a guy who does custom work.

I think, from the phone number, that this place is in Wisconsin.
So I'd bet there's someone out there in your area who could/would do the same thing.
That would be so cool to get exactly what you specify!
Thank you all for the help. I'm going to check the sites and see if I can find a local ironsmith. I just had this picture in my head of 6ft tall 6 ft wide with a curved front and scrollwork in wrought iron.
Thanks again
Lynn
Oh, please, if you end up finding one and getting your wish....post a photo!
I envy your conservatory;)...but am happy for you! (Ü)
I have never posted a photo but can try as I do have where I can just put the chip in the puter. Guess I could learn!!!! :O)
Thanks for your help.
Lynn
