Plants needing new homes

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 7b)

I don't post here as much as I use to but I'm always lurking. We are moving and I can't take everything with me. I live in east Fort Worth off of 820 and I30. Anyone that can use these are welcome to them.

I have a medium to large yucca, a large patch of mexican petunia, a miniature rose I think the name is sweet nothings, this will be a difficult one to dig because it has been there for a while. There may be some other things later on.
I also have a bunch of flats for starting seeds and cuttings. Most of them have never been used but the ones that have will need to be cleaned. These are smaller cells than the normal 72 count trays you get at walmart. Will have to take all.

There is also a compost tumbler that my step-dad made. It has heavy metal post that you sink into the ground. The only is I couldn't figure out a way to put a handle to turn it more easy although it is turnable.

Last there is a large clay pot with a metal stand and a round plastic compost bin.

We will be moving in 2 wks I think so the sooner the better. Evenings are good and next Saturday is as well. Just email me and we can work something out.

There are a few really large things that I have that I know will be distroyed if left here but not sure if anyone would want to go through the trouble. They are a large double rose of sharon, Very large purple vitex and a wisteria tree.

Can't use the items but hopefully someone can. Just wanted to bump the thread up again.

Venessa, did you make so much $$ on your oil rights that you can afford a new house? lol
My folks live on Kentwood Place. Is that anywhere near you? They are in the SW corner of 820 & 30.
:~)

I wish you luck, with this heat, I'm not going to try any transplanting right now, but maybe someone out there can help you out, or help themselves...

Haha Smockette I wish. I'm not too far from there, just north of i30 and east of 820.

Thanks for the wishes I sure hope I can find homes for this stuff. Anything left will be destroyed. I have dug up almost everything I want and will be digging stuff for my mom this weekend. I will probably list them on freecycle as well. Just can't let them die :O)

Vanessa, I re-read the item list, and I will take the seedling trays, etc. if you didn't give them away yet. Also interested in the large clay pot with a metal stand and maybe the round plastic compost bin. I will dmail you and set up a time.

Venessa - I'm possibly interested in the yucca - what type & how big is it? And also interested in the items Sheila mentioned - if she doesn't take them off your hands, let me know! :)

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 7b)

Sheila I'll dmail you.

Jenepat I have no idea what kind of yucca it is, my aunt gave it to me. It is about 6' maybe 7' but I don't think so.

Sylvia, you take off an go more that the wind changes direction! Glad you got to see Linda and have a good visit. I bet you did have a hard time keeping up with her energy and your bum hip!

Hi Vanessa, I will gladly take them off your hands. Anything that no one is interested in. I have an acre and a thrid and I am trying to aquire a greenhouse on a budget. I like to plant from seed so I can always use the flats. And I am also interested in the compost heap. I have a compost bin but it is very full and I need to separate it. I live just north of you in Justin. Please d-mail me if you want me to take them off your hands. And good luck with the move.

Lorilea.... I did go to Venessa's house and got the seed trays and a plastic compost fence. But if you are interested in getting some of the trays, trust me I am your go-to person. She loaded me up and I will have some available at the RU in Arlington on Oct 18th. Please join us for the afternoon under the trees. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/889502/
