What is this Vine

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

It's sprouting up all over my yard and beds, even in the grass. It's very invasive and is covering the trees in the pasture next to me. I'm just now seeing berries of some kind on it.

I have got to find a way to get rid of it......this is the worst weed/vine I've ever encountered.

Looks like poison oak to me. Break out the round up.

No, that's not it for certain. Something else but it's a mystery.

It is a Pepper Vine, Ampelopsis arborea.

That's it, exactly! Thanks, Bettydee.

Now, if I could figure out how to get rid of it. It is sprouting in every bed I have and all over the yard. Took over my tomatoes behind them, where I couldn't get to them. I'm cutting it down from the fence on a weekly basis.

Good luck. I've used Round Up, and it kills that particular patch, but I think the birds spread it, and it pops up all over my yard. It's not an unattractive vine, if it wasn't so invasive.
