I had a wonderful birthday and spent it with my kids & grand-baby down on the coast.
We had great seafood and shopped some of the plant places. I found some Av's that really caught my eye. I got to see my best friend and gave her a much needed haircut, she gave me several bubble bowls for terrariums & some really cool plants.
It was a great weekend.

Oh, what Beautiful AV's! I am always drawn to any pink bloom so I really love that first one ... but I also adore variegated foliage and purple blooms! Both of those are amazing! So glad you had a wonderful birthday!

I love all blooms but pale pinks and lavender seem to draw my eye.It seems like every AV I buy is some shade of pink or lavendar. If it's a double bloom with a light edge,I'm sold..lol
Of course variegated foliage is like icing on a cake for me...just yummy!
Think I have a better pic of that pink one. did you notice the two top petals are dark shade???
Yes, I noticed that two tone on the pink bloom ... and love it. I wonder if it will stay that way? It sure would be nice if it did! It really is pretty.
Hope you will post both of those on the bloom thread too, for everybody to see! Actually since this is August we really need a new thread started for this month! You could start the new thread with those two pretty blooms!
