Phyllis it is Butterfly Pea, Centrosema virginianum a Texas native pretty vine.

thanks Josephine it's just too cute to think it was a weed to pull.
I thought it was something along the sweet pea line as the flower reminded me of sweet peas.
Pretty......it does look like sweet pea...only better...it'll take this heat!!

i have a dark blue and a pink
I have these coming up all over this year. They haven't bloomed yet but the leaves are distinctive. I wondered what they were and where the heck they came from.... Thanks for posting Mibus.
ohh dark blue and pink ones too am gonna have to watch and see if I find those colors around mine are all the purple so far.
