My grandson, Liam Connor Beam, arrived last night at 12:30 AM, weighing 5 pounds 2 ounces and being 18 inches long. He is such a little angel.
However, his mother is having complications from her C-section. The doctors had to do surgery again today to stop some bleeding inside the incision. She is running a fever and they are watching her white cell count closely in case an infection develops. The hardest part is that she is not allowed to hold the baby or be alone with it. Please pray for God's healing hands to touch her. And please join me in rejoicing the birth of my lovely little angel. love, julie

Great news! Moma is doing better; no fever and no infection. She is still weak and needs lots of rest, but she is doing so much better. Liam has developed jaundice, but it hasn't affected his appetite! He downed 2 ounces for me in less than 5 minutes! Needless to say, he was not happy when I took the bottle out to burp him. Thank you all for your prayers and love.
