Mountain Dog-Daisy, White Mat Chamomile, Snowy Marguerite 'Snow Carpet' (Anthemi
daryl,
Are the buds and the backs of the petals on this plant pink? (That would be characteristic of Mount Atlas Daisy... and the flowers close at night and on cloudy days to show the pink backside.) I'm wondering if your plant is not actually an anthemis, as the foliage doesn't seem right for Mt. Atlas Daisy.
Could you take a look, or add a photo of the buds or the closed flowers?
Thank you,
altagardener
Shhhhhh I'm answering this e-mail from work lol! I have the tag that came with the plant ,which of course means nothing ,been caught by that before. If I get a chance tonight I'll go out and take another pic of the backside (the flowers)! Nice to hear from you Alta how's things?
Daryl
Alta ,I must apologize I haven't gotten back to you, have been terribly busy at work and company from Germany. The backs are not pink, the tag says mount atlas daisy var.silber kissen.
Daryl
Thanks very much for checking, Daryl. I would have to conclude that it's not actually mount atlas daisy then. I still think it is likely an anthemis or chamomile - any other ideas out there?

I tried googling mount atlas daisy var.silber kissen that's on the the plant tag, but I got no hits at all. Anacyclus pyrethrum var.silber kissen didn't get any results either.
I really can't determine if this photo is of Anacyclus pyrethrum or not. Is the foliage almost succulent like?
There is a variety of Anacyclus pyrethrum var. depressus, called 'Silberkissen' ("silver kisses") if you want to check against it. However, the basic plant characteristics (leaves, flower structure, colour of bud and petal backs) of the posted plant don't match Anacyclus pyrethrum.

I agree Alta it doesn't match Anacyclus pyrethum at all ,the leaves on this plant are very similar to a thread leaf coreopsis.I also found the 'silberkissen' but loolks nothing like it.
Daryl
Thanks for working on this. I'll keep an eye on this thread, so if you figure out where it should be moved to I would be happy to do so.
daryl, have you found an ID for this plant yet? We'll leave it for a few more days, but if we can't get a positive ID on it, then unfortunately we will have to remove it.
The photo has been moved.
