Just a quick note I am still around But this year there is alot of work lots of OT which is good for the winter when I can go any wear for my vacation
Been working Nights days weekend and have 1 day off which I have to do everything the big things Like cut the grass and clean the house I have people
Its just way to much.
I have just a few flowers Strep that are blooming one of these day I will take a picture. I Miss you guys but I will be back In december I am hopping I should be layed off

Everytime I hear you talk about your work, I start laughing to think of what hard work you do........I bet you are darn good at it, too. What do you do when you get a rude obnoxious person who doesn't want to follow the traffic pattern?
Tell her Kim how the men came to your resue when that stupid cop thought he was God...LOLOL She works with some very powerful people...LOL Steam rollers, BIG Truck that can make a person really sorry they said something to our mis Dimmer...LOLOLOL

I have a rain day today Oh thank Heavens
As Far as my job go;s with rude people I talk and swear like a truck driver ( Sorry if they is any on here) All of the guys love me first because I make them Browinnes LOL No we all protect each other and No one has a right to get out of the car and start yelling at the top of they lungs that he is a cop First had no cop car 2nd looked like he just got done with a gym class
We had just got done paving in an intersection and the rollers had to come and press it donw I was standing do my traffic and couldn't let anyone in this guy starts yelling at me that he is a cop and has to get across I told him NO we have to roll first so they is no tracks in the fresh pavement . Well he didn't like that and tryed to push his weight around that he was a cop well my biys saw that he had gotten out of his car and screamming at me they ran over and started in that No one should EVER yell at a lady or anyone like that
Well he settled down got back in his car and waitted till I gave him the clear sign.
And one day I women came and wanted to cross the road I told hher to go around and she got mad at me and said DO YOU KNOW who I am I said no and you still can't cross the road she said that her Husband was a senitor (SP) and that she was calling him
I said go ahead you still can't cross the road untiull its ready by the time all was done she was able to cross and as she drove by I said Have A great day and swore under my breath (B_ _ _ _) well that just a couple but after a while you laugh and just shake your head on how rude people are and some are very dumb
Well thats my story and I"m sticking to it

Wonderful, Kim! I love your stories! Isn't it funny how men love brownies?! Talk about women being chocoholic's ... men are just as bad and I haven't met one yet who doesn't love it when someone bakes for them!
It's great that you all protect each other out there! Some drivers are so rude ... always in a hurry to get wherever it is they are going, sometimes at the expense of others! So many accidents on the roadways because of people who can't be patient and just wait 5 or 10 minutes! You really do have patience if you can tell the rude ones to Have a nice day. I'm afraid I wouldn't have been able to keep the B _ _ _ _ word under my breath. I bet the guy yelling that he was a cop wasn't really a law enforcement officer. If he really was a cop, even if he had been working out at a gym and running late to get to work, he would have had a badge to show you! I think he just didn't want to wait in line like everyone else!

It may be a long few weeks, Dimmer..........we need lots of stories to laugh about. Those are great! Wonder why people try to make you think they are so important that they don't have to follow the law??????? Everyone knows that EVERBODY HAS to follow the law.

Well it doesn't look good the push is on 12 to 13 hours a day but soon I will be back keep me informed cause you all wriyte and take so many pictures its hard to catch up

I can't believe it's August already! Oh, I hope winter will be here before long! LOL ... the heat is killing me! But, hey ... Winter in Florida is great!
The winters here are pretty good also... Last year was great... We did not have any ice storms. I do miss the snow... I don't like the humidity here as it kills me ....LOL Also in the winter I will get a visitor from a wonderful buddy I met here on Daves.... My husband is counting the day until she comes back for the Super Bowl...LOLOL Now mind you I don't watch but Dimmer does...LOLOL...

Well I just now found this thread- Got a good laugh! Keep up the stories Kim Dimmer!
Here is another story for today if any one will see this
I didn't have to work on the Tollway today but sort of out in the country first thig a GUY starts to yell at me about stopping for the trucks. I told him there are all kinds of signs up ( The trucks 6 wheeler and Semi were waitting to get in and had flashers on) and the GUY wanted to blow right past them I had my stop sign so he could see to stop well he was not happy and called ME an A___S H------- Like its my fault ( Hope I don't get in trouble for that) I said your stopping traffic MOVE and than he speed away
Than later on in the Day it started to pour one of the guys went to get my rain coat couldn't fine it ( Well it could have bit him in the Noise right in front of his face MEN)
Than the paver guy decided to drive down the 2 lane road we are still paving they is 5 6 wheelers fowlling him and the other guys decide to let his traffic go with a millon cars and no one is up on the other side to stop the traffic on the other side,
So the last 6 wheeler is done I send my traffic and hope on the side of the truck and tell the guy that I have to get up front of the paver to stop the traffic so the cars can pass
Rember I told you it was rainning I am on the side of the truck(Drivers side) and the rain is pourring down the drive is racing with me on the side and the MUD and the sand id hitting me I looked like a drowned rat but we got there and I stopped the traffic and let the cars go and all was safe that was my day
Now I am ready for bed I hope that you guys need a good laugh
