Good morning everyone...Still sweltering here in Texas, looks like its going to continue for several more days. No rain, either, this year is turning out as bad as 2006.
I wonder how badly Mommie was affected by the hurricane. Looks like it came ashore right over her place. I havent seen her here lately so hoping its not because of terrible damage but just that maybe she lost power. Thats bad enough, having to do without a/c now.
Bonnie, glad you are back, loved your pictures. Thats a once in a lifetime chance to get to see those places. Thanks for sharing your experiences with all of us who will never get over there. Sorry to hear about your leg problems but your 2 boys are probably taking good care of you and glad to have you home to spoil you a little.
Do you remember the headaches I was having a while back? Well, all that lead to me finally seeing a heart doctor where he changed some of my medication (whish got rid of the headaches and vision problems) but he said he heard some "swishing" in my left carotid so scheduled me for a test last week. Turns out there is a fairly large blockage there (which he SAID was stable) but I will be going back to see him on the 6th and he will be sending me to a surgeon. Sounds like a stent is in my future. I know many people have these done, still its scary to think about.
