What is this wonderful vine I saw at the L.A County Arboretum? Nobody was around today (too hot, I guess). It had thick, ropey, stem wrapped around a 10-15 inch tree. Really amazing looking.

Thanks - that's got to be it. I looked it up by name in Sunset Western Garden Book and it described the twining vine and leaf texture to a 'T'. Thanks - I'm sure that's it!
