Oh you guys these are my very first blooms and I'm beside myself with anticipation. All my cuttings were started just last fall/winter and the 2 CGs actually got buds in February(?)....but they all fell off. :-(
Those same 2 are going to do it for real this time and they seem to just be teasing me. How much longer do you think it will be?

well..I guess I'm having fun.. but it was a time frame based on what the flower bud looked like..and experience on how it seems to drag on before flowering.. even during this faster time of year.. all this is surely effected by the flowers conditions.. and location.. geographically.. and within a garden..
Be sure to tell us when it opens..

Okay! I just got the 3 day report and here's what we're looking at. Oh how beautiful!! I had to stick my nose up inside to see if I could get a whiff of the heaven I've heard so much about and it's there! That 4.5 day forcast might be pretty darn close to the mark.
Now for my next question. I have 2 plants in bloom and I thought they were both CG. (Maybe just because they were the 2 that budded for me over the winter.) But unless I mixed up the tags I have one CG and one Dr. Seuss. But they look so similar! What say ye oh wise brug lovers, what have I got here?
Lala, I think your new bloom is lovely! So pretty next to your ... daisies? zinnia? Some buds do look very similiar, they may even look similiar as the are opening, but as the bloom ages it developes it's color, then you will see the difference. I think they smell a little different from each other, too.
Well good luck with them LALA..now the fun begins for you..one flush then another ... Glad I was as close to the date as I was .. It's after all not an exact science ... all the best.. Gordon
