Lilsista I am interested in your Lemon lily DL and maybe double narcissus. But I need to find out if the narcissus will do well down here. There are lots of daffs that don't like it here. Not sure why.

I've also never done a trade by mail, so how do we do this? And how do I ship my bulbs to you? I can wash them and put them in sawdust. Since we have a wood shop, I could easily supply the whole DG community with sawdust.:)

I usually just dig up the roots cut off some of the vegitation as they'll grow back and put them with alittle moist dirt in a baggie and tie it shut.... You can use a bubble envelope marked fragile or a sm box...
If it's under 13 oz you could probably get by with just 1st class postage....
If not the Post Office has free Priority Boxes in many sizes....
The Lemon Lily's should grow fine there...They bloom here early/mid spring
Not sure on the Double Narcissus though...Just sent my grandson home with some he's gonna try in the Ft Worth area...They grow in Baton Rouge,La
You can try and see....
I'm a newbie here also....

Ok Lilsista, I've got a mess o' alstroemeria dug up. There's still more to dig, but they'll have to wait. I'll bag 'em up and mail em tomorrow. I'm going to send some to Defoecat too.

Are these hardy to zone 5?

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Makshi, I don't know if they are supposed to be hardy there or not, but if you mulch enough they might survive.

I have some yellow pardancanda lily (candy lily). I also have an iris I would trade.

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

I didn't know it came in yellow. I have some that's orange with spots. Do you have a picture?

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Sure I can get one for you.
