A little rain would be appreciated down there. However, I've heard that all across the valley, they're talking about a foot of rain on top of what they've already gotten. Major flooding, if they are right. Hope not. Then there's still the possibility of tornados.

We've gotten about an inch and 3/4 of wonderful rain today so far! But we were under a tornado warning for a while...I believe we're still under a tornado watch now. A possible tornado occurred in San Antonio earlier...only property damage reported, as far as I know. We were without power here for less than an hour. I'm hearing about a lot of flooding and property damage down in the valley.

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

I got about an inch yesterday, from the fringe of the storm, and was very grateful. I went out about 2 hours later and stuck my finger in the dirt and it was dry as dust. That was twice as much rain as I've gotten in over two months! I am sending my prayers to y'all down south -- and would gladly take the excess!
