CLOSED: I have stella de oro lilies and red hot poker to trade.

Ellenboro, NC(Zone 7b)

I've got stella's and red hot pokers that I had to move, there divided into 4 inch pots, I like to do some trading, MeganO.

Would you like plumeria? I got some red hot poker earlier this year but it died and I'd love to try again.

What Are You looking For??
I already have lots of Stella's....
But would like to try the Hot Poker...
My Zebra Mallows are just started blooming in the last 2 weeks and are now forming seed pods...
So it'll be alittle while yet till the seeds are ready...
Planted them in 2005 and i've been away for 2 years and was quite excited when they started coming up....They've been reseeding themselves pretty good...
Even had to transplant some out of the lawn before the DH mowed them down....

I have campanula pantaloons, and some foxglove seed (I'm sure I have the tag with the name of the plant on it somewhere if you are interested.)

Well I have most of all of the things you guys have, but I have plenty to go around, I think I have 15 pots, has anyone got any new sedums, (low growing) or hens and chicks( not regular green) I have enough of those. or a little agave I have always wanted to try one. cleodendrums, my friend wants a start of string of pearls, I dont know the actual name of that one. Anything with dark colored foliage. coral bells, red lantana, Sarah Bernhardt pink peonies, I also have Rose Campion if anyone wants some of that!

Upstate, NY(Zone 5a)

Sorry, I don't have any of those. If you want to exchange for postage let me know.

dpoitras,, tell me which way is the cheapest way to send and I'll get you some in the mail, I hate going to the post office, they have 50 ways to mail one thing ! ( at least it seems that way) it is very confusing to me, or my brain is getting a little mushy from all of the heat here!! I just saw where some one was mailing plant starts in an eyeglass box, I had no idea they even sold eyeglass boxes. MeganO

I am new to this so I really don't know the cheapest way. how big are the clumps? maybe a small box with not much dirt on the roots? Is it okay to cut off the green and just send the roots? If that is the case a small cardboard box would do the trick. I'm thinking that with some damp shredded news paper they would be okay? What do you think

In the spring I lined both sides of the sidewalk to my front door lined with stella's. I figured they don't get that tall and they would look great once they fill in and give me color spring till late summer. Last year I bought some baby daylilies from at the farmer's market that were sold as stella's and moved them to the sidewalk but when they bloomed they were a dark rusty orange with a yellow throat. Don't get me wrong I love the color but they just stick out like a sore thumb against the yellow of the stella's. I need to move the imposters and fill in the empty spots.

I've got Big and I've got Little...
Their Tubers..They've already bloomed here.So when I dug them up I already cut the greens off....
Yeah I just use boxes...Or If it's small enough a bubble envelope...Marked Fragile....
If it doesn't weigh over 13oz you can get by with 1st class postage..If not they go Priority..
Post Office has a variety of different sizes boxes....
Sounds like you got a hold of some of my Crinsom Pirates....LOL
Take a look at the attached pic and tell me...
Sold them on E-bay with Stella's 3 years ago...
