I have purchased a flat of raspberries from 2 diff. sources over the past week and they look great but are kinda blah. I will freeze for jam but wondering if you have had good sweet ones?
Blah raspberries
So far this year I have not had any spectacular berries, including raspberries, strawberries, and otherwise. Too much rain? I have also noticed that they spoil much more quickly than normal. Like they must be eaten the exact same day you purchase. Even then I am throwing out moldy ones in the container. Very disappointing. I may be concentrating on peach jam this year!

I got great raspberries at Greysmarsh farm in Sequim last weekend. The fields were really full of small and large, sweet and juicy fruit. Picked 12 lbs in an hour with me and young niece and nephew. they made over 2 doz jars of jam.
Wish the brother in law would have wanted to stay and pick blueberries....
