Hi, you have d-mail. André
gerris
my chickens like it. did you want some seeds?
guess I'd better tell you my chicken story.
I have free range chickens. i have this bed that my chicken have taken over and the only thing they have not killed is the hollyhock. they have it bent over and a few of the congregate under it when it is too hot and throw dirt on themselves. it was established enough this year so they couldn't dig it up, so i ended up with seeds
yes i have noticed a drop in the bug population since we let them run free
SASE is on its way to you.
Thanks!!!!
Shell

I had one like that, and it seemed to be perennial, not biennial like most hollyhocks... any idea how long yours has been there? I lost it this year, but I think it got groundhog-munched in spring. I'll be trying to start some seeds that I saved, although I had trouble with that also -- most of my seeds were drilled by some sort of weevil!
Did you see WigglyPaw's "Chicken Nightmare" article?
they have been there 2 years. i don't know if they are perennial or biennial. and no i have not seen WigglyPaw's "Chicken Nightmare" article. do you have the link?
