Recommedations for partial to full shade + 10-15 ft tall?

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Trying to come up with a privacy screen specimen for a shady spot. Needs to be 10-15 ft tall. Evergreen is a plus, but if the branches are full enough bare it's ok to be deciduous. Fast growing is a plus.

I tried three times - THREE - to grow fatsia in that spot and it keeps dying so I give up. I need a replacement. My deck and my neighbor's livingroom window are directly across from each other and both of us would like relief from the direct view...

Any ideas?

I grow butterfly bushes (buddelia). Man they grow fast, get very bushy and make a great screen. They might not bloom as much in the shade but I have some containerized in shade and they bloom there.
