Ty is acting upset since I put a Preventic Collar on him!

I have been looking at flea and tick meds. I heard Preventic collars were okay. Put it on Ty this morning and he is pacing and rolling when outside. Breathing fast. He will lay down but when Imove he is on the move. Last year I tried Bio Spot and he acted the same way. Washed it off right away. Then heard it wasn't safe. So was glad I did. He was also okay after the washing.

Now do you think it is just the different smell or is there something in it bothering him? Should I of left the pkg. open for a bit first?

Any ideas please let me know. I leave for work in One hour.
