minuet is a very new plant in my garden. it reminds me of a bit deeper colored "little nell". it will be vigorous and i am helping it along by keeping it pinched and healthy so these early blooms will be removed with some stem today. anyway, here it is. looking forward to next year with this clematis, as the vitacellas are so vigorous and easy.this one is in a tomato cage for her first season, next year she will have something nicer and will also take advantage of an arbor vitae she is planted next to for her support. small tomatoe cages area an inexpensive support for trial or new plants, or even ones that will be so vigorous that they will cover it up as they reach for their planned support. you can't beat the price on them either.

I have seen a lot of photo's of that one - I think she is adorable and woudn't mind having one myself...
