Changing my pond a little. . .

Most of you know I just had my pond installed in December of 2007 and I am in the process of phase two on the garden and yard. The company that did the pond are also landscapers and they are mulching 1/2 an acre and putting down weed cloth and install a three extra, extra large boulders (seating rocks) around the pond and putting in a few more plantings. I requested they lift my skimmer up 3 inches so that the water depth is higher. I ended up with a 4 inch lift and approx an extra 500 gallons of water. I am really pleased with the end result. Now the fish can come right up to the water's edge for feeding & I won't have to bend down beyond my feet. It's really coming all together and I am thrilled with the look of the few inches. I'll post pictures tomorrow when the sun is out!
