Is it too early for me to cut back some of my salvia? I have some that gets more sun than others and they are really beginning to look raggedy.

We cut ours back here @ the Farm on a regular basis. We cut them back to keep them fr becoming leggy & also for cuttings.

Thanks! I will cut away and while I'm doing so will scatter the seeds. Maybe I will get some new plants. ;)

My DH used to mow over mine (before we knew what it was) on a regular basis throughout the summer. It's still growing strong 3 years later! LOL
