My white half runner beans are blooming. Most of the inner leaves are yellow. Is this typical? Or is a disease responsible? The outer leaves look good, there is no spotting or brown leaves - just yellow ones.

White Half Runner question - Inner leaves have yellowed
It is unusual for any of the several cultivars of white half runner ( Mountain is the best) to have leaves yellow in the blooming stage. It will happen especially in hot weather when the beans begin to form.
