Nice blooms --hope someone might know their names...

First is Rum Runner and second is Georgia's Pearl.

Compared to AmandaTaylor's July 15th post of Rum Runner, mine has lighter, yellower edges --though I was struck by the similarity.
Many hibiscus vary in color depending on temperature, climate, etc and I think Rum Runner even changes throughout the day, being a different color at the end of the day than at the beginning. So I wouldn't worry if yours looks a little different than Amanda's http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/47080/
I looked at a few other poss on Rum Runner, and several mention the changeable coloration --mine haven't done that.
JPlunket - if yours doesn't change colors throughout the day, then it isn't a Rum Runner. Although that was my first guess when looking at it because it looks identical to some of my Rum Runner blooms, which vary in color even with the temps / sunlight. But man, even looking at that one again right now, I'd be willing to bet it's a Rum Runner. The foliage and branches and flower all look like mine.
When this one first opens up in the morning, is it ever more of a magenta all over? And then lightens to what you posted by the end of that day?

I will have to look at the blooms again, with a more scientific eye.
I'm 99.9% sure that it's a Rum Runner too. Sometimes, mine changes very soon after it opens to the color you show here because of high heat. Is that a possible reason that you haven't noticed the color change? Just an idea...
Forget the scientific eye, I 'll need to set the coffee maker on automatic to have ANY eye open early enough.
third looks like common variety double peach?
LOL, Me too JPlunket, that's why I said that - I more often see the color that you posted unless I get my rear out to watering early enough ;-) I'm just not a "morning" person!
Hear, hear!! I'm a night owl ... thus the reason I'm up at 12:40 am on DG! :)
