I have come to realize that there is an ant colony (not living in a hill) near our strawbales. The ants are in all of the squash flowers. They are all over the bales but it doesn't look as if they are harming the plants. They do not seem to go near the tomato plants. Are ants a problem for pollination or can we live in harmony with each other?

I don't think it's an infestation, they are not a problem yet. I just want to know if it could be a problem.
