I planted garden phlox 3 years ago(red tenor and orange perfection) they have yet to flower. They are green, in full sun, no powdery mildew, but no flowers or even anything that looks like a start of a bloom.
What's the deal???? Any ideas?

Mine are just starting to get buds so maybe they're just not ready to bloom quite yet.
Ok, I did check plantt files(of course after I posted the ?) and some say mid-late summer, so I have my fingers crossed.
Jen, Did your Phlox flower?
The ones I moved to a new area are just starting but they are not the correct color. They should have been orange or red.
Very weird.
Here it is in full bloom, good thing I had moved it to my pink/purple garden, funny how these things work out.
Jen, It's very pretty even if it's not the right color. I ordered mine from the Phlox Co-op and they are all blooming. I did lose one or two to the bunnies or some other predator. Only a gardener would think of soft furry bunnies as predators. LOL
