The making of a fairy house....I need help!!

Rome, GA(Zone 7b)

I found an old wooden western style bank at the thrift store. I had some stones and some floral moss so I glued the stones on first and then started gluing the moss on the roof and in between the stones. As you can see, I'm still not finished.

I've came to a stand still on how to fix the door, any suggestions?
I was thinking of maybe some kind of small vine to go around the post on the front porch??
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

looks really cute :0)

Maybe just spray it with some clear UV protector paint, now?

What do you mean by "fix" the door? Looks good so far!

What kind of a security system are you installing - I'm sure the leprechauns will want to deposit their pots of gold there! LOL!

LOL!! No, security system. I thought that some kind of door would look cute on it. I've been watching a tree outside in my yard that has some bark peeling off it and I was thinking that I might could use some of it to make a door.

It's been a long time since I've used my imagination on something like this, tends to bring out the kid in me. Thinking back, I used to build little houses and landscape the yard under one of my moms oak trees when I was a little girl. There was lots of green moss under the tree which seem to just add to the effect that little people really did live there. My DH thinks that I am being a little silly with this but it sure is fun!! LOL
