Amer painted lady cat on pussytoes

Lula, GA(Zone 7b)

I found out from Cordeledawg that Antennaria, pussytoes, was a larval plant for butterflies. It's a great ground cover, growing wild here in the dry shade. I potted some up to use elsewhere and was excited to spot this caterpillar today. It appeared to be forming its chrysalis. I did not see any more on the mother lode of Antennaria though. I believe it is an American Painted Lady cat. Yes?

Neat, I've never seen one of those before.
Great find!

Thanks. I'm just surprised that 'it' found the few plants in pots but the mass natural planting doesn't seem to have any cats on it. Hmmm. Nature is full of surprises. My digital camera refused to work again after that one photo.
