New Kitty!

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

We have a new kitty! OMG most of my friends and relatives say. She'a a rescue, of sorts, as she was dropped off near a friend's welding shop on a busy highway. The friend thought she was feisty and deserved a chance not to be run over or have heavy metal objects dropped on her in the shop, so Robert brought her home two days ago. The other three cats are not speaking to us, just growling, and preferring to be outside, even though it is quite hot. They ARE saying things to new kitty that I won't repeat. Hopefully by keeping them separated a few more days, hurt feelings will subside and we'll have a somewhat peaceful family again. We lost two very old amd very loved cats during the winter, but we really weren't looking for another cat. You just never know when a special kitty will come into your life. She's an orange tabby, and I think we will call her Amber. I had forgotten how little kitties bounce off the walls and have very sharp teeth and claws. There are lots and lots of kitties hoping for rescue and adoption.
