Humingbird nest and birth

Fox Island, WA(Zone 8b)

These are a few years old so some of you may have already seen them. Wonderful site which chronicles the birth of hummingbird babies. So cute! Enjoy.

That's so cool! It's amazing how tiny they are.

It's fantastic. Especially when you get to the end, and the nest size is compared to a penny. Thanks rntx

I know, it is hard to believe how tiny they are

I joined this web site after viewing Verle33's hummingbird series. I too have captured them from egg stage to day 21 when they flew off. I don't know what's the best way to submit my pics, but here's a representative one. If there's an interest, I'll follow with more...as time and grandkids allow. ;-)

Hi HBird, Welcome to the site!! Beautiful pic! Your more than welcome to start a thread of your Hummingbird nest pics. We would love to see them.

My Queen of the Yard has put her nest up in the oak tree above the feeder. I have never seen one so high up, it must be 25+ feet up there. But for the pictures and links in this forum, I have never seen one up close, so I sure would like to see your nest pictures!
