jim's candy lemon lime- can't smell a lick other than a strong normal mint smell

grapefruit- smells heavenly very good citrus smell
chocolate mint- just like jr mints yummy
apple mint- not like apple at all dont like the fuzzy leaves on this one lol
orange mint- smelled great when i got it ...was a small start and died : (
any advise or your views on the different mints are appreciated. i want to order the mixed berry mint but wonder if it actually smells like berries.

Kelly ~ have you noticed sometimes the fragrance is stronger in bright sunlight? Sometimes even less strong when the soil is pretty moist? That might be what you are running into.
I agree on the apple mint ~ lol. The apple scented geranium smelled more appley than my mint does. I liked the variegated pineapple mint fragrance but it didn't seem to like my climate and dissolved in the high heat and humidity.
hmmmmmmmmm havent thought of it not smelling because of the moisture i will skip the water today and see what it smells like later on you could be right makes perfect sense to me that too much water will dilute the smell : ) thanks!

have you smelled the lavender and grapefruit mints? they smell like the real thing if you ask me, my sweet pear smells like pear and my banana smells like banana. apple smells like apple to me.
There are alot that don't smell like theirnames but there are alot that do too
these all smell like their names if you ask me.
oregano thyme
basil mint
chocolate mint
jim's candy lime smells like limes

iims candy lemon lime and my jessie's sweet pear still dont smell of anything other than normal mint.
the only mint i have is the chocolate mint and i agree that it smells like a junior mint/peppermint pattie. I would like more mint varieties, but we are currently renting and the landlord does the yard work. I dont think he would like me planting much in the yard and I already have so many pots on my porch. Hopefully when we can buy a home after we graduate I will have more of a yard. I do miss that so much.
