New chicks from Mt. Healthy!

These are the replacements of my laying breeds from Mt. Healthy. These are the NH Reds, Golden Laced Wyandottes, and Araucanas. The Speckled Sussex and Partridge Rocks are to arrive Thurs.

I've been very happy with Mt. Healthy.

And this is my favorite chick from this bunch. She's just so fluffy, especially her head! :-)

Well, she's either an Araucana/Easter Egger, or a GL Wyandotte, and I'm leaning towards Araucana. There's another chick that at first I thought was a NH Red, but then I realized she's not as red, and is more of a golden-grey color, so that must be an Araucana too. I love how that breed is so variable.

your fav is a doll, and i believe Aracauna due to colring doesn't match your others, her leg color, and her FLUFFY FACE ^_^

how are your cute chicks doing?

They are all doing good. I moved them out into the coop the other evening and they have settled in with the older pullets and the broilers. Luckily the bear didn't get one of them, but of course he went for the slower moving more meaty prey.

Just an update - my favorite fluffy chick turned into this! :)
