Filtered shade helps her to hold more of her colors in the heat.

Beautiful! 90% of my hibs are either in filtered shade, or lots of shade in the morning.

Great picture, Ardesia :-) I've noticed that too - most of mine are in full sun, and American Maid's colors just aren't quite as pretty without the shade.

American Maid is simply fabulous. That's going on my next month's list for Robert.
