I grew this Plummie from seed about 3 years ago. It hasn't flowered yet.
I have it in my entry way, where it gets filtered light. Some of the leaves on it this year are almost albino-looking.
I'm hoping it's just due to the low light level it's receiving.. and not something serious. None of my others have this.... the ones in full or filtered light.
Plumeria help?
I think your right needs more sun I have a couple here that other plants grew faster and blocked the plumeria from getting enough sun. Plumies love the sun if it gets too much it would be bad for it too not used to it.
Maybe it could use some fertilizer and could it be a little dry or root bound?
Thanks Dana! I'll take it outside for some sun-time. I do give it some fertilizer and the pot it's in, seems roomy enough.
Teresa, your plumies should be outside full time! I agree that that could be the problem. It also could be a deficiency of some sort. I would acclimate to full sun and then leave them there!
I've taken all of my plumies outside. Thanks Clare!
Good girl:-) Did I scold you? Didn't mean to sound that way!
I didn't hear any scolding in your voice, Clare! Just good advise. I'm taking them outside again right now.
Oh, good. I think I scolded someone else who had their co-op plumerias inside still;-)
Lol. That was me, Clare. Its ok - I took it as a good scold and moved them outside right away.
Feel free to scold me anytime - my plumies depend on you!!

LOL, Bre. Sorry about that. It was supposed to be a gentle suggestion and not a scold, but my writing is abrupt sometimes, I think. It's the Sicilian in me:-) I blame my father. Thanks for the compliment, but your plumies will do just fine under your care.
Teresa I have one here that has the same color on the leaves. Mine had dynamite fertilizer this spring and its here in the florida sun. gets plenty of water so I don't know whats up with that. Now that you have it in the sun the leaves should perk up Might get sun burned too not used to it but it still will be good for it. I'll see if I can find the picture I took of mine same thing
If you look at my pictures toward the end theres one I showed with the color you have
Danasplants, do you have a link to your pics?
I also have three year seedlings that are yet to bloom. I gave some superphosphate(0-20-0) about a month ago. My plants have been in the sun for a good while now.

Charmaine, it is actually the last number (potassium) which helps with blooms, not the middle number (phosphorus) that is claimed by the Bloombooster people. Phosphorus doesn't leach from containers very well and can actually be very bad for the plumerias in the long run: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/692567/
Seedlings take from 3-5 years to bloom in general and can take even longer. I'm in Zone 10b, which is pretty ideal for plumerias, and I am still waiting for some 5-year-olds to bloom. The best thing that you can do for seedlings is to make sure that they have lots of room for their roots, full sun, lots of heat and water, well-draining soil, and a regular diet of balanced fertilizer.
