welll what's the weather been like lately there.. perhaps fertilization while it was very dry.. the earlier leaves look great.. did you or someone spary roundup near by.. it is a bit difficult to say without knowing each and every part of it's history.. and then it's pretty speculative.. is it in the ground or in a pot.. No, I just learned a few posts below about the very same type of "cramped leaves" (and see an even better post above, The Devil!!") --you've got broadmites, and will need EMT for the plant to survive.

Gordon, The weather has been perfect...not really hot....80's low 90's. the plant was recently transplanted into a much larger pot. It was not really root bound in it's original pot but it did out grow it. I've been using mircle grow every other week and watering regularly. I've got eleven other burgs that are doing fine and all were re-potted the same day this one was....however, it's the only one getting funky looking leaves. I'll get more pictures of it today....

I do not think it is broad mites, but rather some type of mineral deficiency like boron. I have had several plants display similar characteristics and they eventually came out of it when I applied a dose of trace minerals and made sure the ph was balanced.

When I first encountered it i thought broad mites too. One plant I actually cut down to a stump and drenched it with spray. The new growth came out crinkled and that was when I realized it was not a pest problem.

What is EMT? just in case I need to know at a later date. I think brugs have so many pests and I think I have all of them. lol

The cure is Avid or Forbid, maybe the EMT is for when you see how much they cost.

Thanks everyone for the info......what I think I have.....and let me state that again...what I THINK I have is WAY to much nitrogen....I fed it some mircle grow...maybe a little to strong......
