Old Movies

Piedmont, AL(Zone 7b)

I wrote a little story about old movies, nothing to do with gardening really, but if you have a chance to look at it I hope you enjoy it......And again, thanks for letting me post my stories here, I sure appreciate it.
And a Safe, Happy, Healthy 4th of July to you all.

Paul, it looks as if everybody is taking a siesta and not posting on DG. That is boring. At least you and I are still here. Your story is so familiar because my DH is an Old Movie Buff. The older the better and he has seen those same movies dozens of times. That's what he does when he doesn't do anything else. Me, I like a good game of Bridge. Enjoy the peace and solitude.

Siesta?....Well Ann I think I'll take one of them myself.......:) But before I do, thanks again for reading the story and I'm glad you enjoyed it and I hope your husband enjoys his old movies as much as I enjoy mine....And I hope you enjoy your bridge game as much as I'm going to enjoy 'Witness for the Prosecution', with Charles Laughton this afternoon......:)

Paul, somewhere there is a great thread called Memory Lane. This would be a great topic for bumping it up. Yuska

Paul,
Hope you enjoyed "Witness". Charles Laughton and my grandfather looked alike. I don't think they ever met, but I have been with grandpa, when he was mistaken for the actor - more than once.

Once I found out who Charles Laughton was, I used to try to see every movie he was in.
