One of my friends sent me this link last week. This is the first time I'm in this forum and that link brings me here so that I can share what I saw in that link.

Cool pictures Dinu! The penny and toothpick picture at the end give scale to the other images and one is surprised and reminded of how tiny the birds are. Thanks for sharing them.

How cool is that!

One of the friend-family of the neighbourhood had been to Fiji Is. for their job for many years and on return they were describing how small those hummingbirds were! I had not imagined they were so little until then. Haven't seen them live yet, because they don't inhabit our place here. Glad you enjoyed the link there as much as me.

Fascinating--thanks for sharing. I have lot's of hummers but haven't ever been fortunate enough to locate an active nest.

Probably that is why he has posted it - must be difficult to spot and locate the nest and even the birth of the bird.

South/Central, FL(Zone 9a)

That was amazing to see. : )
