The bugs (flies, gnats, mosquitos etc.) are bad this year due to all the rain/flooding we've had. I've never had to spray myself with Off while in the garden until this year. My goats (Betty, the Queen and Fred & Barney, the wethers) are miserable. I've hung sticky traps in the barn but it isn't making a dent.
Went to Farm and Fleet today and tried to find something to use on the goats but the ingredient list was scary! Does anyone have any *home remedies* ? Thanks for all suggestions.

glad you asked. use 8 ounces olive oil as a base, and add 8 drops each of essential oils of Lavendar, Lemongrass, and Citronella...
