I'll be in the garden today planting all the Lychnis that Dahlianut kindly brought me yesterday! And going to the Hort Society to take in my competition entries - tomorrow is the deadline.
Then the countdown starts! weeding, deadheading , cleaning up and resanding the patios ( athough so much moss has filled in the cracks there is not much to do - I prefer the moss !)

o go with moss fancyvan. I luv it. If you want to get rid of it I will come get because I WILL have a moss garden. I will, I will. Mine keeps pooping out every spring.
NO I dont want to get rid of it - I love the moss growing betwen the stones and it has taken years to get to this state!

Which brings me to a Question!
Do we have a Birthday Forum for Candians? I found one for the 'mericans, and thought it a great idea. What they do, is they list the birthdays for everyone on the thread, and that person gets gifties from their friends across the country. Not expensive ones, mind you - might be a dollar-store purchase of fairies, or something related to garden ornaments based on their preferences, or a new type of outdoor or indoor plant seed/seedling, etc.
Actually, the sky's the limit!
btw - my birthday isn't until next spring, so this is not a mercenary "plug", but I know there are a lot of us with current/upcoming birthdays & I thought this would be a very friendly thing to do :-)
Any takers? And how do we get a new, Canadian forum started? I tried "tooling-around" on DG, and can't figure it out..... DUH!!!!!
I think the Birthday forum is supposed to be non-country specific. Everyone is supposed to use that one. I just like to give a purely Canadian greeting to our Canadian members as well :-)
