July African Violets

South, TX

I thought we could have a thread just for the African Violets. Here is my Rebel's Rose Bud. She is still young, still needs to get more white on the leaves. A very healthy plant.

Oh, Rebel's Rosebud is really gorgeous. I found the listing in Plant Files: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/131646/ but no photo's yet. I hope you will consider uploading your photo to PF.

I wanted to see if I could find a photo where it showed the variegation in the foliage. Found this at the AVSA website: http://www.avsa.org/Photographs/RebelsRosebudLrg.jpg#http://../Photographs/RebelsRosebudLrg.jpg%23 and, Sally I must say ... your plant is much prettier! You do an outstanding job of growing AV's ... your photo's are wonderful!

Thank you all.

I love the varigation is the link. I think she will get more white later as they normally do. Do you like it more green, Lin? Guess we shall see how mine grows. So far, she is lovely with big flowers.

Here's Hawaiian Pearl, the flowers have that iridescent sparkle that I love!

Peach Float is gorgeous! I Love, Love, Love variegated foliage! Sometimes I think the colorful foliage is prettier than the bloom.

I agree, Lin. The foliage is at least at important to me.

Me too. I love variegated things, esp. tricolor variegation.
