Still Think this is Goldenrod?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Earlier in the spring, I posted a pic of an unknown "weed" growing in my flowerbed. This is what it looks like now. Still think it's goldenrod or could it be something else?

Doesn't look like it will be. This is my first year for GR, but I am certain it isn't white! LOL!

Doesn't look at all like Goldenrod to me. Poverty weed? But wouldn't it be too early for that to be about to bloom?

Not goldenrod but I too would like to know what it is, as I have that here. The pic below is of non-blooming goldenrod (on right, and very upright on a stalk) with berry bushes. The crepe provides the white blooms.

Edited to add pic. Not happening so will be in next post.

Stephanie, I think what you have is;
Conyza canadensis var. canadensis, Canadian Horseweed, native to basically all of
North America, check this out.

When you first posted it, it looked like Goldenrod because the leaves are very similar, I do think the texture of goldenrod leaves is different, but in the picture it is hard to tell that.
Let me know what you think.
Josephine.

Josephine, that's most likely it. Doggonit! I was really hoping for goldenrod! LOL Whatever it is, I think it might be coming out of the bed.

Don't worry Stephanie, I will give you some Goldenrod at the fall swap.

Awww! Thank you, Josephine! What a sweetie!

Do we have a date for the swap yet? I need to get some seeds going!

Great Stephanie, the swap is scheduled for October 18th at Randol Mill Park, Arlington.
I will be reviving the thread next month, here is a link to it.
