too late to plant caladium bulbs?

North Richland Hills, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm wondering if it's too late to purchase and plant some caladium bulbs from Caladium Bulbs 4 Less? I live in North Texas and temps are 90-100 degrees during the day. These bulbs would be mostly going in a shaded bed.

I'm cross-posting this with the Aroids board in hopes to get a speedy response. Thanks for your help!

They sprout up pretty rapid in warm weather. In your zone, the growing season lasts longer than some other states. If I've some at hand, I'll plant them immediately.

Thanks for the input. I placed an order & plan to get them in the ground ASAP once they arrive. Can't wait!

Put 'em in the ground sweetie, they should still be around come November here.

checked them last night & saw a few heads starting to peep through the soil. i can't wait!!! this is my first time ever to plant bulbs of any kind.

here's a pic of the area they went in. I planted the whole 5lb bag (90-110 bulbs) in this bed. I'll post another photo once they start to come in.
