Emergency fireworks bans put in place around these dry and drought-struck counties have so far held up in court. Please encourage everyone to respect the law and prevent the kind of fires we saw around last New Year...or worse. It's even drier now than it was then in many areas. We can have a happier holiday without setting those kind of fires. I'm in Medina Co., where an emergency ban on all sales, use or transport of all fireworks is in effect through the 6th of July.
