Hey everyone,
I would like to plant a moon garden, I bought those pretty marble
rocks at walmart. And I have a nice white lattice panel fence as
a backdrop. Any advice on what more I should do....Thanks

needed...new moon garden help
Typically a moon garden contains white and pale colored flowers that will "glow" in the light of the full moon.
What's you favorite type of plant?
Are you thinking a moon garden with white plants? That would be lovely with them glowing in the dark. One of the first white night bloomers that comes to mind is the Datura ~ Angels Trumpet. It has large upright showy blooms that unfurl at dusk.
Hello again,
I am in zone 5 and would like anything I plant to be winter hardy here.
Now that's a difficult request! Actually I am more curious about
fragrant perennials which are hardy to my zone and will work in a moon
garden. I suspose I should do an internet search. Alas, I am too lazy.
I thought to put down the marble rocks, with a backdrop of white painted
lattice panel fencing, then maybe design a mini-stream through it and add plants.
Of course I will not get it in this season. Maybe next...
Thanks for any advice.
Josette,
I haven't been in zone 5 long enough to know all the dos and don'ts, or what will live and what may not, but in zone 5 you will have to give anything you plant a good mulch to keep it alive through the winter, at least until it's well established.
White Azalea is nice, but they do not bloom all summer long, mine bloom in the spring only.
The Hostas are blooming now and some of them have white blooms.
There are several varieties of white roses that will bloom all spring and summer, Iceberg being one of the best in my opinion.
Now quit being so lazy and get to googling girl, half the fun is the planning!

Great thanks for the help all.
