Just because I planted it......

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

........doesn't mean I remember what it is.My hub's and his buddy planted them for me but if they put the label out,I can't find it. I know it's not a pumpkin 'cause I only planted Long Island Cheese and I know where it's planted. Some sort of acorn squash? I planted Table Queen but package shows them to be solid dark green.Anyone reconize it? I need to start doing a garden map.

Item to id...middle of pix, green webbed, round squash looking thingy.

They look like unripe pumpkins to me.

They are squash but that is a broad field. what kind did you plant? Any round zukes or winter types. Looks like like a C. Pepo. Are they vining or bush? Maybe your planters slipped a Halloween pumpkin in just for fun.

There are several varieties of round summer squash although they are usually picked much smaller than these. Cut one and see but I think these are zucchini bread ready!

Archie, MO(Zone 5b)

They look like 8 ball brand of zucchini to me. I grew them last year.

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

They were planted in the squash row and they only round squash I planted were baby round zukes.Could these possibly be the baby rounds all grown up? Guess I'm going to have to cut one up and(try) eat it to find out.

Most likely, the round zukes get big in a hurry.

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

I'm pretty sure that's what it is. The day I picked them I was wonder "where are my baby rounds were 'cause I know I planted them right here in this area"....LOL...been in the sun too long.

I ate tomatoes all this last season, and only identified my Black Krims (I THINK!). I knew exactly WHAT I planted, but I lost track of WHERE I planted which tomato. And to add insult to injury, I saved seeds from all the maters. So, this next season I guess I'll be playing "NAME THAT TOMATO!"

Ashdown, AR(Zone 8a)

I'm going to try one on the grill to see how it taste.

I planted around a 100 tomato plants(30-32 var.) We put up a long piece of fencing to trellis some of them on. I was planting down one side,2-4 of each var.,trying to keep var. grouped together...my hub's friend was coming down the opposite side, planting. Little did I know until we were done that he was just grabbing plants out of the trays, planting willy-nilly and some labels didn't get put out with the plants....ACK! I can not kill the free help....I can not kill the free help...but can I at least choke him until he blacks out?...LOL
