Oh wow, gorgeous! Mine aren't even close to blooming yet. Some of the lilies I got from TWL have yet to make new leaves. BUT that's because I didn't get them sent to me until our last frost date on May 15, so I'm a little behind! I can't wait to see how they look.

I received this one in the Spring Co-op. It is Panama Pacific.

Beautiful! I’m so glad I ordered Panama Pacific, because that is one stunning bloom…love those colors. Great pics so far, keep em coming so we can all get bad ideas for next co-op ;-). Here is my first bloom. I don’t know how many pics I’ve taken of it at this point; it’s just so beautiful that I have to keep snapping away. I think this is Islamorando.

Bad ideas???????????.........LOL.......

San Francisco Bay Ar, CA(Zone 9b)

Yep, bad ideas for me, at least ;-). More must-have aquatic plants is a dangerous thing since I don’t have any yard left to put more water. I think we might need to rip out our living room next, and stick another pond in its place. LOL.

Deer Park, IL(Zone 5b)

Ooh! Gorgeous! I ordered a lot of these in summer co-op but I haven't recvd them yet-can't wait!

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Oooh! Sunny, your Islamorando is gorgeous! I ordered one from this co-op, but I may have inadvertently killed it. Time will tell. Hopefully, it will make a full recovery and put out the blooms! :-) Yours is sooo pretty!

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Rip out the livingroom???? ...is this coop bad influence on you people??? ...what will you think of next to put your pond at or in????........LOLOLOLOL....but this is fun tho...right??...heheheheh

Deer Park, IL(Zone 5b)

I got mine today and they were all hug and had one-four blooms on each. I temporarily planted them (it was pouring buckets) and will redo it in a day or so when the weather gives me a break. I was very, very satisfied and the co-op exceeded my expectations!

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

Well I can't tell ya what it is I received as my order is on my work computer and one of the bags said it was a sub for a plant, so here is their temporary home. I have two that are blooming and another with many buds on them.... Just wish I had received an invoice with the names inside.... as bad weather was moving in a I quickly gather the bags up and put the plant all the way in the water so now I have no idea except for 3 of them what the rest are....LOL

I'm going tomorrow to get my solid pots and sand and will pot them up and keep them in the tub till the pond is ready.

ok took a closer look and matched the bag up to the photo.

At top and going clock wise.

Ohhhhh that huge lotus bloom looks so neat…please post pics when it opens. 5 feet tall IS bigger than me. LOL. Between all of Becky’s pics and now this giant lotus bud, I am totally sold on getting lotus at the next co-op… Nadine, I’m afraid my living room will have to come out for sure. LOL. Here’s bloom number two opening on Islamorando:

rylaff - Your Lotus bloom is beautiful! What is the cultivar? Here is my "Tulip". The blooms have gotten bigger, much to my delight. It has been producing one bloom after another. In this photo you can see the bloom as well as another bud. I looked around under the pads and see more small buds maturing. I just love this Lotus! It seems to be a prolific bloomer!!!

This one has been blooming steadily; I usually have a minimum of 3 flowers a day.

WOW, I am seriously drooling over those lotuses! Beautiful shots! I have a new bloom open today. I’m not sure which waterlily this is…I need to cross-check this pic with my order since I didn’t label plants in my hurry to get them potted up (I was potting waterlilies at midnight. LOL). This one is nicely fragrant and is light blue, not the purple that my camera picked up.

just some really pretty plants that yall have.

Ok I'm ready to go to the store later this evening so what all do I need to make sure to pick up.

I've got pots with no holes, I already have good topsoil, and then sand to top off the pots????

Do you think they will be alright in the pan until I get finish digging the pond????

Several of the marginals are going in my bog area and with the amount of rain we recevied today, the lake is back in our back yard. So this is perfect for me to get them planted....

That will leave me with 5 plants in the pot.

Do I need to get anything else or do for the pots????

thanks for the guidance.

Janet - How big is your pot? I would just use the top soil and maybe some medium sized rocks. You want to have at least 8 -12 inches of water above the roots of the water lilies. You need to plant the roots right into the dirt, add a rock or two on each one (to keep them from floating up to the surface), being careful not to damage the water lilies, and then fill with water. The pads need to be floating on the surface. Did you buy pond tab fertilizer? If so, I would add 2 of those down in the soil. And then place in a full sunny area.

Deer Park, IL(Zone 5b)

I got the Texas substitute for the Charlene. I wish they gave me a choice on the sub. I don't know anything about the Texas lilly-anyone wanna fill me in-is it large or small pond plant and what color is it?

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

mothermole:

With my sub I went back to their web site to see what I received and all the info on it.

They upgraded my sub...LOL

Moodene - Actually I thought about putting one in a growbag - but they have holes!
