Where are my buds (buddies)?

Have you noticed that some of the ole' timers don't seem to post as often? I sure miss them all!

Hi, I am one that posted often and with pictures but I am afraid this year I am just looking, and reading, this is how my road looked up until a couple of weeks ago,my brugs are doing no good at all, far too much rain, and cold, I had thought of bringing them all back into the house but that is so much work, we have had so much flooding that I have had only one brug bloom so far this year, every day I hope that it will get hot and DRY

Doris, I am so sad to learn you have had flooding and your plants are doing poorly. We have a lot of rain seems like every other day, but as most of my brugs. are in pots, they have not been drowned out. Hopefully this crazy weather will end soon and your plants will bloom again.

I used to post alot more pictures also, but we have had more hot, hot weather this summer, so everytime my brugs. load up with buds it turns out super hot and they drop or after the second hot spell in a short period of time they just dry up . It has been especially discouraging with the new seedlings that I am waiting to see bloom this summer.

Well I have missed all your posts also, I figured it was about the same reason as mine, everyone is having crazy weather, hopefully it will change soon.

Hi Everyone! Good to hear from you!

Kareoke and Tussee,
You all have really been through it in the midwest. I have friends in Fairfiled, Iowa so they have kept me posted on how horrible it's been. I truly hope it starts to dry up soon. Keep up the spirits, if you can. I have been so amazed at the resiliency of everyone that's been affected by the flooding and fires.

Jerodsmom,
We love to see you checking in so don't think you always have to post pictures. I've just been missing some of the old familiar folks.

Elva,
Sorry to hear about health problems. Didn't you have some in the past? You, too, keep the spirits up. Yes, this darn hot weather gets to everyone and that doesn't make your health any better. We've been hot and humid here also. It seems the older I get the harder time I have with the hot weather.

I hope everyone will continue to check in once in awhile. I've noticed on the FL Gardening forum that the folks are posting on a "Chatter" thread just to kinda' check in and say "Hi".

I do think these are unusual times (weather, economy, etc.), but I have missed seeing familiar "faces".

Take care everyone!
