My very first Angel flower.

Merino, Australia

May I come in here among all the beauties and post my very first Angel flower ?
She has been a long time opening in the cold weather but here she is.
The cutting was a Y cutting of "Suavolens" given to me last January . She made her first Y very quickly and I am surprised that she has gone on to flower at this time of year. I had the cuttings outside until the weather got too cold and then moved them into my plastic greenhouse. There is no heating in there and on fine days I open the door to let fresh air in. The cuttings are all doing well and I hope to see more flowers next year after all the seeds grow that I will plant in Spring. Jean.

Jean, It is fun to have the furst flower. It is beautiful. (I am still waiting for my first bloom of the season.) Enjoy. I am envious of anyone that has a greenhouse. Maybe someday.
