I've got a NOID I've had for a couple of years that is finally going to bloom. The inflo itself is branched. In the past they've just fallen off without branching on my other plumies. How can I tell if this one will branch? This particular tree is about four feet but hasn't branched. It's starting to curve over, but hasn't branched. I know this is a silly question and there may not be enough information here, I'm just curious.
Branching?
Plumerias branch when they bloom most of the time because the inflo comes out of the growing tip, forcing branching. That being said, I have a few that sometimes don't branch when they bloom. Sometime, a tiny branch will show up years later at that old inflo site. It is common for inflo's to branch. I'm sure you will see new branches soon.
Thanks for the info. Glad you're still around!
Thanks. It does appear to be branching. Thanks.
Thanks, Andidandi! That's great!
