Help ID my coreopsis

Saginaw, TX(Zone 8a)

I bought this coreopsis with the tag saying it was Limerock Ruby. Well, obviously that's not it. Any ideas what it is? My daughter saw it, and she would like to get one.

I guess it is a hybrid and it does look kind of ruby to me.

The pics of Limerock Ruby are a deep red. Maybe mine just got faded from so much sun :)

Hi Mimi, I got a few Limerock Passions this year and planted one in full sun and the other in half day sun. The one planted in full sun faded so badly that I gave it to a better home. You might try dividing it next year in less sun and see if you get a truer color.

I'll have to try that cocoa_lulu. Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't know what you have, but it reminds me a lot of this cosmos:

I think it is a gorgeous color

That sure looks like the 'Limerock Dream' I've grown...

You've solved it! :0)

Where did you buy yours?

I actually like the color very much, even though it's not what I was expecting.
